Meg Pirkle is the Chief Engineer of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), a position she has held since January 2015. As Chief Engineer, she oversees engineering, construction, and project management for the Department’s $2.5 Billion statewide capital program. Pirkle also oversees the P3 program, statewide maintenance, traffic operations and intermodal programs.
Pirkle earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University, a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech and is a registered professional engineer.
