Sabrina Drago is a licensed civil engineer with nearly two decades in the engineering industry. Starting her career as a bridge engineer, Sabrina then spent 10 years in marketing and business development and authored multiple local ACEC Grand Award recipients. She has also served as a Regional Quality Director and Transportation Business Leader for several national consulting firms. During that tenure, she served on the ACEC Sierra Chapter Board of Directors, stepping down when she joined the public sector. In December 2020, Sabrina became the Executive Director of the Sacramento Transportation Authority, an independent local government agency primarily responsible for administering the Measure A program: the half-percent sales tax for transportation improvements in Sacramento County.
Sabrina received her BSCE from Cal Poly Pomona, her MSCE in Structural Engineering and Geomechanics from Stanford University and her MBA from Arizona State University. She is a registered professional engineer in California and Arizona and was awarded ENR’s Top Professional Under 40 in California. Sabrina lives in the Sacramento, California region with her husband and two children.
