WHO WE ARE
The Land Development Coalition represents the unique needs of firms that offer land development, site/civil and geo-technical services. Our goal is to strengthen the business environment and image of land development with clients, agencies and other engineering professionals.
WHAT WE DO
LDC focuses on providing quality land use and site development services (including surveying/ geotechnical consulting) for both the private and public sectors. LDC works with other industry associates outside of the engineering realm, and acts as an advocate for member firms, addressing the issues influencing surveying, geotechnical consulting, and traditional site development.
OUR MISSION
- Provide business practice programs and information for land development firms
- Develop liaison relationships with client industry associations
- Monitor and liaise with federal regulatory agencies creating policies that affect land development activities — assist in advocacy efforts by ACEC where needed
- Monitor trends and changes in the industry to help firms maintain and enhance profitability
- Provide a peer to peer forum for firms to express their own business concerns
- Promote ACEC and member organizations’ commitment to the coalition
